Serves/Yields: make 16
Prep. Time: 30 min
Cook Time: 20 min

Difficulty: Moderate
Introduction

This is a fenomenal recipe for the sweeth lovers!
I just love the Cinnabon Rolls, the smell of the cinnamon and  the caramelized sugar make of this dish the classic " Any moment is the right moment to eat a cinnabon rolls"!! You don't have to be hungry to eat a cinnabon you just have to love it; and I do love it. So when I moved in UK from US where the Cinnabon Rolls where everywhere in UK is not really the same story.
So instead of complaining I decided to take action and try to do by myself.
And guess what? It worked and also very well indeed.
Cinnabon Lovers enjoy and let me know if you like it.
Francesco

Ingredients

For the dough
600  gr. of flour
90 gr of sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
21 gr of dry yeast
90 gr butter
400 ml of cold milk
2 eggs
For the Filling:
150 gr of soft spread butter or margarine if you want to cut down the fat. You can use normal butter at room temperature.
150 gr of sugar
2 1/2 teaspoon of powder cinnamon
1 egg for glazing the rolls

Directions
Let's start the dough.
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well with a spoon.
Means put the......
600  gr. of flour
90 gr of sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
21 gr of dry yeast
in the bolw and mix it.

Now let's mix the liquid ingredients.

Beat the eggs.

Add the milk.

Melt the butter to a very low temperature; do not overburn the butter.

Mix the melted butter into the eggs and milk mix. Mix well.

Start adding the liquid mix with the dry ingredients while mixing with a wooden spoon.

Start from the center and keep adding the ingredients.

when you finished to mix in the bowl it is time now for kneading the dough by hand or if you have a fancy mixer use that until it is smooth and firm and not sticky!
You will need some extra flour for doing this job

Put the ball in an oiled bowl.

Cover with a clingfilm.

And finally cover with a towel and let the dough rise for 30 min.

Let's start the filling.
Cut the butter in small pieces.

Put in a bowl the sugar and the butter and start mixing well. If you are using the soft spread butter or margarine should be very easy. In this picture I used room temperature butter. (Old fashion style).

Add the cinnamon.

The mix is ready. You can put into the microwave for 10 second to make it easier the mixing and the future spreading.

Let's start the assembly part.
Preheat the oven at 230C or gas mark 8.
Take a piece of parchment paper and attack it with tape on the surface.
Oil the surface.

Start spreading the dough trying to create a rectangle.

Start spreading the filling.

You should try to cover eavenly all the dough.

Roll the mix trying to make a huge sausage.
Cut the roo into 3 cm slices.

Put the slices in your baking pan.
Don't put to much close to each other as the rools will increase in size drastically (at least the double).

Cook for 20 minutes.
The rools will be golden brown and the sugar will be caramelized.

See how couzy they became? If you remember the original picture before going in the oven.
Now you are ready to enjoy these delicious rolls.
